B2B-sales of advanced medical laboratory equipment

The Job
You will be Axlab's frontrunner in establishing the new sales company in Boston. Together with a Japanese product specialist, you will, independently and in close collaboration with the Danish management team, work with the American market. The customers will be hospitals and laboratories – as well as pharmaceutical companies within lifescience and diagnostics, who want to use the advanced technological solution that is not only crucial for the laboratory's efficiency but also ensures an optimal working environment and the highest possible quality of the analytical work. For the benefit of both staff and patients.

You will therefore receive a thorough introduction in Denmark and at the manufacturer before you start in Boston. Market persuasion and customer support will subsequently be your absolute focus area, throughout the start-up phase, where you will of course receive professional and business support from your Danish colleagues. A technical service partner has already been established in the market, with whom you will also have a close collaboration.

Your background
You are an entrepreneur and have a great desire to try your hand at a pioneering task in a new and large market for the product.

You also have a relevant professional background and solid experience with most of the above-mentioned tasks and preferably from a sales function in the health sector and/or from a medical technology organization (medico industry). Maybe you are a bioanalyst and/or have a similar insight into the field from a system supplier.

Your ability to understand the individual bioanalyst and pathologist's everyday life will be absolutely essential for your/Axlab's success, also in the American market. This is why you are expected to visit your customers and potential customers frequently and if possible visit the hospitals' pathology departments to experience everyday challenges up close. It is through this that you will most often get the valuable knowledge and inspiration for, which of the advanced technological solutions makes sense to the customer.

You will especially be assessed in relation to your professional competencies and ability to independently execute your tasks on time – as well as your desire and ability to actively use your knowledge and experience "over there". In short, you have commercial flair.

By nature, you must master English in writing and speak almost to perfection.
